In 1974 Ronald J. Leschke began R&J Transport Inc. with only a couple trucks, to provide Specialized Carrier Services to the Paper Industry, transporting Paper Making Machinery. Today the company operates 36 Power Units and over 135 Specialized Trailers, providing service throughout the U.S. and Canada.

As R&J began to grow and expand over the years, Ron once again saw another need for Specialized Transportation in the Construction Equipment area. In 1986 he opened a Lowboy Division in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. This division primarily works with Road Contractors and Heavy Machinery Rental Businesses throughout the Upper Midwest.

R&J also takes pride in the quality of their equipment. Their Power Units and Trailers are considered to be some of the best in the business and every piece is cleaned and maintained in detail on a regular basis. R&J not only believes that the customer's shipments must be handled perfectly every time, they also believe that the equipment that is transporting it must be at its best.
